To boost the local art industry as the country moves out of lockdown, Worthing Borough Council, with support from the team at the creative hub Colonnade House, is offering the exhibition space with no hire fee throughout 2021.
The outdoor gallery features five stone-filled gabion plinths and is situated a short walk west of Worthing Pier on the promenade – an area that attracts a high footfall throughout the year.
Proposals are now invited for future exhibitions at The Seafront Gallery, which has 20 display surfaces across the five plinths and is accessible via a beachside path as well as the promenade. Hire periods will be for four to six months.
Eligibility: UK based artists and practitioners
What you get out of it: You’ll get a free exhibition space and the opportunity to exhibit your work, but you must cover your production costs
