Quasi Quadro announces the 3rd of the Air Land international contemporary art competition. After the success of the previous editions, organized to promote and enhance contemporary art, the open call moves to the Museum of Contemporary Arts_ Ex officina ferroviaria located in Barge, province of Cuneo, which opens its spaces to national and international artists. The finalist works will become part of the Museum’s first contemporary art collection.
The following announcement is addressed to all artists, with no age, sex, nationality or any other qualification limit. Each artist can compete using one or more artworks, published or unpublished. The announcement is also open to every discipline (sculpture, painting, video art, photography, performance, poetry, etc.) and the picture of the works should be sent online and not phisically. The staff will take care of printing pictures of the selected works on a light and resistant support.
– All of the artists who succeed the first selection stage will be included on Quasi Quadro’s website Gallery.
– The 10 finalist will exhibit their works at the important collective exhibition at the Museum of contemporary art_ Ex officina ferroviaria di Barge , which will be included in the circuit of open spaces and galleries in the period of Artissima 2020, best moment for contemporary art disclosure in Torino (subject to changes due to the health emergency COVID 19).
– The first prize will be reserved, in addition to the collective exhibition in the spaces of the Museum of Contemporary Arts_ Ex officina ferroviaria in Barge, a solo exhibition inside the gallery of Quasi Quadro in Turin. The winner will be awarded a cash Prize of €100.
The exhibition will be accompanied by an online catalog by the Association Quasi Quadro with the works of the finalists and those worthy of special mentions.
