We’re super excited to announce a special opportunity in partnership with Waltham Forest Council: 228 Chingford Mount Road, Chingford, London E4 8JL

We are looking for local artists, creative makers or curators to take over the iconic former fifties County Camera’s shop which has been recently refurbished to be a fantastic light, bright, creative space.

This opportunity is open to organisations, collectives and individuals. The space is provided for free. In return you will use the space fully & organise some public-facing events as part of your occupation. This could be a workshop, talk, performance or anything which supports your creative practice.

As the period of occupancy is over Christmas, we are looking for creatives or curators who might have work to sell or organise public-facing selling exhibitions. This could include paintings, photography & traditional artwork, or you may create written publications, fashion or anything else from the creative sector which you want to sell.

Eligibility: We welcome applications from diverse backgrounds and want to encourage and showcase up and coming talent in the borough.

What you get: Free exhibition space, access to grants, marketing support, press support, mentoring opportunites.
