The River Thames has provided inspiration for renowned landscape painters over centuries – from Monet to Turner to Constable.

Inspired by their timeless artworks, County Hall Arts is delighted to announce ‘Riverside Views’ – its Competition for Fine Paintings.

A prize of £10,000 will be awarded for the winning entry – with 2 runners-up prizes of £1,000 also on offer.

We’re searching for artists who will rise to the challenge of following in the tradition of the great artists mentioned above and create work that celebrates the fabulous, iconic Thames in a fresh and contemporary way, finding modern, surprising, individual and diverse perspectives on these familiar scenes and vistas.

Eligibility: UK residents – Professionals, amateurs and hobbyists are invited to submit landscape vistas painted from the Southbank of the River Thames.

What you get: Winner’s Prize of £10,000 – participation in proposed Exhibition at London County Hall.
