Expressions of interest are currently open for practicing contemporary artists’ (at any stage in their professional career) to undertake a supported, three-month, site responsive open-studio residency at Sauerbier House, Port Noarlunga, South Australia.

As an open-studio residency, artists are encouraged to interact with visitors to the house and generate engaging and inclusive opportunities for the wider public to experience their practice and processes.

At the conclusion of the residency, artists will be supported to present an exhibition of studio made works.

Residencies and exhibitions will be programmed to take place between July 2022 – June 2023.

Along with providing all participating artists details, you will be prompted to provide a concise project proposal, short artist biographies (for all participating artists) and outline your proposed community engagement. You will also be requested to upload 10 examples of current/relevant work and upload a one-page CV.
