Virtual Exhibition: Compassionate Women: Kindness in Action

This an open call for a global digital exhibition titled “COMPASSIONATE WOMEN: KINDNESS IN ACTION”

Curated by: Anum Farooq (www.anumfarooq.com), in collaboration with the Technical Consultant of the National Institute of Folk and Traditional Heritage (NIFTH).

We are seeing a zeitgeist in the world. A great change. We are also seeing a greater awareness of the challenges and obstacles that women are facing. There are more open and honest conversations about what life is like for women around the world. It is a unique experience for every individual, and our focus theme is an exploration between women and compassion.

This is a unique opportunity to participate in an international digital exhibition with a focus on “women and compassion”. Emerging to established artists, as well as self taught artists are encouraged to apply, to lead a change in the cultural zeitgeist on a global scale.

How kindness in action has changed the lives of women globally? The meaningful impact of compassion in transforming destinies for the better.

This an opportunity for the women of the nation to have a conversation through art about their experiences on a global arena. The impact of acts of compassion that they have received or given. What change it brought about in their lives or of others? How did they empower themselves and others through compassion?
